Ostara observances?

Best wishes on Ostara!

I'm gearing up for some spring cleaning this weekend. I'm actually looking forward to it, too...good music makes the work easy, and the apartment feels great afterward.

What do others of you do to mark the occasion?

My friends and I actually took Sunday afternoon past to have an informal gathering that involved a melding of fun. We had dark chocolate eggs and decorated them with carvings and icing in symbols to indicate the seeds of new beginnings we are hoping to plant in our lives.

We then gave the collection of eggs a mini reiki treatment to infuse them with energies above and beyond, and were guided through a meditation by our hostess with beautiful buddhist singing bowls in the background.

Then we ate the eggs, libated with some "naked grape" wine, thanked the elements, and had a relaxing potluck .

It was a great way to bringing in the season!
